Distances: Steel-Town-Man Half Distance 1,9 KM Schwimmen, 90 KM Radfahren, 21 KM Laufen.
Participation: Only those may participate who are in possession: a) of a licence issued by their National Triathlon Board (for instance ÖTRV – License, Tri –fed License), or b) a license of the day All participants may apply for a license at SVB Sportpromotion ATS 70,- / € 5,09 when sending their applications.

Preliminary Schedule: Sunday, 6. August 7.00 a.m. Start for all Half Distance, Long Distance athletes and Team.
Check in: From Lake Pichling (WK-Container) August, Friday, 4th to Saturday 5th 2000.
Carbo Loading Party: Friday, August 4th 2000, Arcotel Nike Linz, Unter Donaulände, 7.00 p.m. – 21.30 Uhr.
Race Meeting and Check In:
Dressing room/shower (bath) School Pichling, Rathfeldstrasse, near (1 KM) Transition area
Winner Awards: Monday, 7th August 2000, 10.00 am Lake Pichling. ( Finishline )
Time Limit: swimmimg: 1,9 KM 1 hours,15 mins.
Swimmimg and cycling: 1,9 + 90 KM 4 hours,45 mins.
Swimming cycling and running: 7 hours,00 mins.
Those competitors who exceed the time limit in swimming or cycling must leave the race, or be excluded from competition.
Provisions: During the competition the athletes will be provided with sufficient food and drinks. In the finishing area after the race, they will receive various drinks and food rich of carbohydrates.Further a message treatment will be offered.In addition, the Red Cross Enns, St.Florian, Water Rescue and physicans will provide medical care and rescuing services.
Swimming: Lake Pichlinger See
Cycling: 2 laps a 45 KM ( No Drafting ! )
Running course: Flat course on streets and paths along the Donau – Canal ).
Accommodation: Bookings must be made by participants and guests themselves. We recommend early booking because of the limited accommodation capacity.

€ 25,44 has been made. Bank fees are the responsibility of each individueal participant. Past this date no refunds will be executed. Each participant must pick up his start documents personally and posses a valid starting license, which must be shown at the issuing office or other control points of the organization. Otherwise the participant must buy a license of the day. Giving ones start place to another person will be punished with disqualification. The organizer reserves the right to reject applications for reasons important to him.Competitors, disqualified because of evident fraud, will not be allowed to start at the Steel-Town-Man Race for the next two years.
